When someone clicks your ad at 10pm, who answers them?

At most of the businesses we've looked at, nobody does until the next morning. We set up an assistant on your website that replies within seconds, books the appointment and texts the customer to confirm. You get the lead on your phone with a summary of what they need.

Or . It's the same kind we'd set up on your site.

businesses we checked while they were running paid ads had no chat on the page those ads sent people to. A form or a phone number was the only way in.

That matters because speed decides who gets the job. In a well-known Harvard Business Review study, companies that responded within an hour were nearly seven times more likely to qualify the lead than those that waited longer.

  • Ohio · roofer

Page title says "Book a Roofing Estimate". There's no form and no calendar on it, and the "Book Appointment" links reload the same page.

  • Ohio · roofer

"Free Estimate" and "Schedule a Meeting" open the same 8-field form. Nothing actually gets scheduled.

  • Arizona · roofer

The ad sends people to a 13-field contact form that ends with "we'll follow up shortly."

  • Arkansas · roofer

Advertises 24/7 emergency service. At 2am the options are a 4-field form or a phone that nobody picks up.

  • Ohio · roofer

Free-inspection ad. The page it lands on says "We respond within 24–48 hours."

  • Kentucky · roofer

Form promises a call back within 30 minutes. That's 30 minutes for the customer to call someone else.

What it looks like in your business

Pick your industry to see an example conversation, start to finish.

Storm-season leads don't wait until Monday.

A single commercial roof can be worth $50,000 or more. When a facility manager clicks your ad at 9pm with water coming through the ceiling, the first roofer who answers usually gets the inspection.

What we usually find on their websites:

  • Quote forms that promise a reply "within 1 business day"
  • "Schedule an inspection" buttons that just open the same form
  • Phone-only landing pages that lose everyone who won't call

  1. Visitor:Our warehouse roof is leaking after last night's storm.
  2. Assistant:Sorry to hear that. Is water coming in now, and roughly how big is the building?
  3. Visitor:Yes, near the loading dock. About 40,000 sq ft.
  4. Assistant:Got it. We can have someone inspect tomorrow at 8am or 1pm. What's the best name and number for the crew?
  5. Visitor:Dana, 312-555-0199. 8am works.

What we set up

Four pieces that work together, installed on the website you already have. We handle the setup and the upkeep. You read the leads and show up to the appointments.

An assistant on your website
Answers questions about your services, asks what you'd ask on the phone, and books the appointment. It's trained on your business and only says what you've approved.
A text within a minute
Every lead gets a text confirming the time or the next step, so they stop calling around.
Leads on your phone
You get a summary of who they are and what they need the moment they book, plus the full conversation. It can go to your CRM too.
A better page for your ads
If the page your ads point to is slow or asks for too much, we build a simpler one for your ads.

Why it's called Equal Generosity

The person who finds you at 2am on a Sunday should get the same answer as the one who calls at 10am on a Tuesday. That's the whole idea, and it's the name of the company we already run.

Equal Generosity Ventures builds software for nonprofits and development organisations, including Field2Donor. This is the same team, putting the same engineering to work for businesses that live or die by how fast they answer.

More about us

Questions people ask us

Is this a chatbot?

Technically, yes. But most website chatbots answer a few FAQs and then ask for an email. Ours is set up to get the appointment booked. We train it on your services, service area, hours and the prices you're comfortable sharing, and it asks the same questions you'd ask on the phone. When it has what it needs, it books the slot, texts the customer and sends you the lead.

What if it says something wrong?

You see and approve what it knows before it goes live. It won't quote prices you haven't given it or promise services you don't offer. If someone asks something it can't answer, it takes their details and passes them to your team. You can read every conversation, and we adjust its answers as we go.

Do I need a new website?

No. It's one line of code on your existing site, and it works on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and custom builds. If the page your ads point to is part of the problem (slow, too many fields, no clear next step), we can build a faster one for your ads.

How long does setup take?

About two weeks from the kickoff call for most businesses. Most of that time goes into training it on your business and testing it with you before anyone else sees it.

Where do the leads go?

Wherever you already work. You get a text or email with a short summary the moment a lead comes in. We can also send it to your CRM (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, JobNimbus, or most others through Zapier or Make).

Who owns the conversations and lead data?

You do. We use it to run your assistant and nothing else. We don't sell it or share it.

What does it cost?

The Leak Audit is free. The pilot is a one-time setup fee, listed on our pricing page. If you continue after the pilot, the monthly price depends on your volume, and we'll quote it before you commit.

What if it doesn't work for us?

Then you'll know within a few weeks, because you'll see every conversation and every booking. There's no long-term contract to get out of.

Want to know what your ads are losing?

Send us your website. Within two business days you'll get a short screen recording and a written list of where paying visitors drop off. It's free and you don't need to get on a call.
